Frequency of pediatric dentomaxilar anomalies in Orthodontics Barros Luco Trudeau healthcare complex, Chile

Introduction: Dentomaxilar anomalies (DMA) are the third most common oral pathology in Chile.Objective: To determine frequent of dentomaxilar observed patients treated Department Orthodontic Dental Specialties Service (DSS) belonging to Barros Luco Trudeau Healthcare Complex, Santiago, Chile. The population belongs pediatric between 5 and 15 years, who have DMA, trea-ted southern metropolitan health service.Method: sample 250 with DMA was chosen from April September year 2019, therefore, data extracted clinical records patients. classification carried out using Bonn`s biogenetic method, modi-fied by University Chile.Result: It that intermaxillary is transverse direction corresponds unilateral crossbite, on other hand, intramaxillary alteration dentoalveolar per large tooth. All agreed be more at age 9 years.Conclusion: possible define frequency DSS, this being direction, corresponding crossbite. With present study it intended make a contribution for future studies use similar me-thodologies.
